Hanging on with broken fingernails. Canadian first, Albertan second. Anyone But Conservative. Pro science and pro choice. Elbows up!
From the Meta AI data centre protest in Morinville, AB this a.m. A decent turnout & lots of positive feedback from people driving by. Attention whore Ezra Levant was in attendance. Couldn't be arsed to take his picture but held my 'FUCK ZUCK' sign in the background while he was interviewing.
From Facebook. Another demonstration yesterday in St. Albert, Alberta.
Fasciated gerbera at the local garden centre. The top view makes me think of a lion fish.
I got a flag from my Conservative MP's office last summer when the whole 'Forever Canadian' thing started. It came in handy when out collecting signatures for the petition.
Our Fight Back Now! demonstration in St. Albert today. The photos were taken before the noon start up time for the demonstration and more people showed up later.
Outside the grand opening of the Forever Canadian campaign headquarters this afternoon. I thought I got there early but had to wait in line to get my lawn sign. It was quite the turnout.
"That is not a gathering shaped by the values of welcome and humility. It is a gathering shaped by access and privilege. We believe that faithful engagement with public ... (is) holding open the door - not closing it based on who can afford a ticket or who holds the right beliefs."
Leek seedlings make me think of the growing season ahead and the hope they will do better than last year now that I know a bit more.
The Sturgeon Road Snow Sculptor of St. Albert, Alberta Snowwas hard at work with all the snow we've received over the past couple of weeks. Luckily I got a couple of photos taken before the temperature starts to go above freezing this weekend.
The Xmas presents I got for myself arrived. The guillotines are for Joe Lonsdale of Palantir who wants public hangings. The coat hangers are a reaction to Jason Stephan's speech on late term abortion. And the red maple leaves are for Forever Canadian. They were all from an Alberta supplier.
As an Albertan I find this horrifying. This shit is right up Smith's alley and her poop-cookie MLA, Jennifer Johnson, will push hard for it.
Just got back from seeing PM Mark Carney in the flesh. He is such a decent man who will ensure Canada and Canadians succeed.
The energy was like being at a rock concert! PM Carney is such a decent man and he'll make sure Canada and Canadians succeed.
The last little bit of snow we got was put to good use by the Sturgeon Road Snow Sculptor.
We got more snow last week and St. Albert's Sturgeon Road snow sculptor got back to work.
I got more Sturgeon Road snow sculpture photos today. Had to get'm before they melt.
Whatever you do, don't mention the word cookies in relation to her on Facebook. I did it and the comment was immediately flagged as unable to be posted. the screenshot was done poorly.
St. Albert's Sturgeon Road snow cub giving a seasonal wave to passersby.
