Went looking for Magicicada stragglers in Edison, Fanwood and Scotch Plains NJ. Found holes and shed skins but no live adults. No evidence of a Brood XV, but plenty of evidence that Brood II in 2030 will be great.

You can find baby cicadas anywhere there are cicadas, but it is prime time in the United States in locations where Brood XIV emerged (2025), or Brood X stragglers in the Maryland and Princeton NJ areas. Check your branches for babies.
