This is Bug. He ate breakfast at 6 am. This picture was taken at 7 am. He stared at the place mat for a good 30 minutes waiting for second breakfast to magically appear. How do I break it to him that he is not a hobbit and is not entitled to second breakfast and must now wait until dinner?

We’ve added to our flock! Meet Lily, she is a 15 year old blue crowned conure. She has some disabilities, her toes are not in the normal configuration for a parrot. But she seems to get around okay. Sunny our DYHA is not so sure about having to share his humans again.

Not sure why CDC is calling me. It seems a little sus. If it’s a scam, they are persistent. But if it’s real, I’m sure they just need to ask DHS/NSA or any other alphabet soup agency for the info they want.
I haven’t posted much lately as I have been rather sick. Diagnosed with Valley Fever resulting in a few days in hospital. Barely related photo for tax. Finally on the mend and my novel is in the hands of a professional editor. So I am a nervous wreck.
Just a thought: What would happen if no one talked about the latest insane thing that was said or done by the current regime?? Having parented a child, unless it involves safety, ignore bad behavior. It sucks the air out of their ballon.
