“Figure we take out the shooter. Lose twenty, twenty-five percent of the toddlers.” “I can live with that”
Just randomly came across a reel of someone watching a movie in a bright room with their TV *in a glass case* and it has ruined my whole day.
Just received these. A word of warning if you are considering ordering your physical media from @terracottadist.bsky.social - you will need a sharp knife to open it, because it’ll be better protected than Jackie Chan ever was. If you want your special editions to arrive special, I highly recommend.
It’s fucking insane, because he draws his own storyboards, and they’re not incredible images, so they very much prove that they don’t have to be. He’re some for Raging Bull, which translated into shots that remain stunning and beautiful to look at nearly 50 years later.
I'm pleased and happy to repeat the news that we have, in fact, caught and killed a large amount of algae that supposedly injured some bathers. But, as you see, it's a beautiful day, the pool is blue, and people are having a wonderful time.
Per reports from a Chicago screening on the blu ray forums Radiance are releasing Visitor Q. This is both great news and terrible news because I’ve already paid for the Australian release. I shall console myself with the fact Radiance are never going to match this (UV reactive) cover.
Me, neurodivergent? What gave it away? The ridiculous collection of Japanese films? Or deciding to buy a load of tools and take up woodworking just to make something to store them in because I found some shoji doors on eBay? Or taking a year to finish it because I started so many other things?
I’ve not been without a beard in about 20 years and part of me is scared that if I do I’ll have this transformation in reverse.
It’s probably good I wasn’t here when this package arrived. I might have greeted the postman with unreasonable excitement.
All of them? How would he like them to get to this meeting? Is he providing transport? Trains, maybe?
