Something different for a Sunday. My local park in the city takes on a very different guise when the mist descends, the atmosphere changes, gone is the city skyline and you are left wondering what is around the corner.

Tracing the past, the remains of yesterday, torn from the wall. I walk past this nearly every day and have seen it both alive and dead and have wanted to try and capture it as I see it. It has taken time to produce an edit which I believe works. #myweeklyphoneimage #sharemondays2026

WIP Weekend Returning from Harris 9 months ago, I have recently started looking through some of my 1,800 photos. I never look at my photos immediately, I have preconceived ideas in my head but I with the passage of time I find that my thoughts and reality move towards each other and meet.

WIP Weekend Another photograph I have been working on, this time from my Guide Lines series. A little different from the others in the series with the a more clearly defined horizon. I have reduced the contrast on the fence posts and this is something I’ve still deliberating.

Crossing Cycling along the river, there are many beautiful bridges, pedestrian, vehicle and train. This one particularly stands out, the strong bold blacks of the bridge standing out against the summer foliage of the trees. #myweeklyphoneimage #sharemondays2026

Right place, right time got me this photograph. A set of steps I have photographed before. I liked the full foliage but struggled to get a shot which worked. 10 seconds later the skies opened, muting the background and a snow like effect from the rain. #myweeklyphoneimage #sharemondays2026

WIP Weekend The tree in the foreground corner dominating the shot with the background subject intentionally lightened to reduce the impact and emphasise the two elements. This photograph is probably the second in a new series, Sound of Silence.
