Proud to be co-charing the State of Data Science for Health in Africa project — a bold initiative bringing together researchers, institutions, and funders committed to transforming how we collect, use, and share health data across the continent.
Yesterday, I paid a courtesy call to the Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi to situate @aphrc.bsky.social within Kenya’s and Africa’s broader research ecosystem, and to invite him to the institution’s 25th Anniversary celebrations scheduled for May 13.
At the #Visibilize4ClimateAction regional dialogue, I challenged researchers and practitioners to always ask: "So what?" Successful research projects and good findings are not enough. They must lead to meaningful action and real impact for communities.
