😄 I was looking for cooling mats yesterday but they wouldn't have arrived in time for the heatwave. She is back now.

We've just had quite a storm.

Have been on a work outing this evening. Escape rooms at Shepton Mallet Prison. Four of us foolishly volunteered when he asked and were rewarded with being put in a dark room handcuffed to each other. Only took us half an hour to find the key to unlock the cuffs 😆 But the highlight was this lad.

They are great spotted woodpeckers. The parent can hold onto the feeder guard and fit its head through to get the sunflower seeds. Again, rubbish photo but so you can see what I mean.

Through two windows so a bit fuzzy, but lovely seeing these two this morning.

Managed to get a couple of photos of the lightning lighting up the sky last night. When I showed colleague and said I didn't see any forks she informed me we don't get much forked lightning here compared to Australia. 😏

We have both gone back to bed post my early morning bird feeding.

There were #pigeons on the Tor today which no doubt my neighbour will blame me for.

A few from today's visit to Glastonbury Tor. There's definitely a very special atmosphere there, not just at the Tor itself but the surrounding fields and lanes. It's beautiful.

Brother is visiting this weekend so I took him to see Glastonbury Abbey.
