I had a lovely time chatting with the Asunción Times last night about adoption, belonging, and connection. I was so pleased to meet with fellow adoptees and share my story. It is my hope that these kinds of conversations will help to bring awareness and visibility to a sensitive topic.
I’m excited to be back in Paraguay leading another Heritage Tour for Adult Adoptees and their loved ones with The Ties Program 🌎 We have a busy week planned! Can’t wait to share the memories with you all!

Poesiefestival Day 2 - Writing Myth Panel Along with the incredible poets Linnea Axelsson (SWE), Ulrike Draesner (GER), and Sasha Dugdale (UK), we explored both classical and indigenous mythology in new, contemporary contexts. Moderated by Ana Rocio Jouli (ARG). Photos by Natalia Reich 📷
Poesiefestival Day 1 - From start to finish, the level of care and consideration that was shown to artists at this festival was something that I have never experienced here in the U.S. Many thanks to the team at hausfuerpoesie for making this experience unforgettable! 💜
Day 2 - A sobering visit to Sachsenhausen, the principal Nazi concentration camp near Berlin. Of the roughly 200,000 prisoners who passed through Sachsenhausen, some 100,000 died there. 1/3
Day 1- We had a six and a half hour layover in London on the way, so of course we had to go into the city for an hour or two! 💂🏼🕰️
