This might be the single nicest paragraph ever written about my scholarship. At a time when I’m feeling rather lacking in confidence about my work this is such an unexpected boost. Thank you to the Dickens Studies Annual and especially to Michael Harris-Peyton.
I am a silly person. I did not buy tickets for The Wedding Present for the gig in Belfast on Sunday night. (Ironically it was supposed to be a Wedding Anniversary Present!) Are there any kind people out there who have 2 tickets to sell?? 🙏
