Loki and I have been out filming for Patreon again today - anyone recognise the tree?!
Found this screenshot from The Odyssey on IMDb earlier and OH My HEART!!! ❤️💔💔💔
I’m at National Trust Charterhouse, Coventry 10am - 5pm today, selling books, bags, badges and stickers! Come and say hi if you’re in the area :)
Guess where Loki and I have been for the last two days?! We’ve filmed three videos back to back and sometimes at the same time (!) for Patreon, the ClassicalJG channel, and the language learning channel. I now have two Patreon videos filmed and waiting to be edited and posted!
Krista Joy and I are all set up to sell our stuff at the Bridgnorth Carnival in Shropshire today, come and stop by if you’re in the area! :)
Confession: I’ve sort of lowkey wanted a gingham dress ever since I left primary school. They seem to be in this year so I finally bought one!
Loki and I were out by the canal filming for this month’s Patreon video today and we got into a standoff with a Canada Goose. I’m ashamed to say the goose won…!
Selling my wares at the Book Extravaganza in Bingham Hall in Cirencester today, pop by if you’re in the area! We’re here till 4pm
Our first Book Extravaganza in Cirencester is next week, I’m really looking forward to it, would love to see you there!
I’m at the Uffculme Centre in Birmingham until 4pm today for the Birmingham Book Extravaganza! We’re a bit tucked away in a corner in a small side room but we’ve got a lovely spooky book book going so do come and say hi if you’re in the area!
I can’t get to the hairdressers for a little while so I did a thing 🙂 (Don’t worry, I’ll get it fixed when I get a chance! 🤣)
Took advantage of the gorgeous weather to visit Wroxeter Roman City so I can pretend to be on holiday in Italy! 🤣
Eastercon update: It’s a good thing I brought the car today!
My Eastercon so far: Missed my train but just made it to the Opening Ceremony. Had to run out of the very first panel when husband called needing to take dog to emergency vet. Poor 5yrold thought dog was dying (dog is not dying: has pulled off a claw). Luckily then I found coffee and good friends :)
Making a chocolate cake while wearing a cream Aran jumper went predictably badly. Have now switched to the cheap £10 knock off instead of the real Aran jumper!
Loki and I were out filming this month’s dog-walking vlog for Patreon today, and we got really lucky with the weather. It was so good to feel the warmth of the sun!
I’ve probably cursed him to lose by putting this on. Verstappen is starting to feel inevitable…
I’ve been in Glasgow for work for a couple of days and of course I took the opportunity to do some filming too! One long form video and two shorts coming as soon as I can find time to get them edited!
We were putting together our Messy Church Christmas tree today, so the Christmas earrings and Christmas cardigan have come out! :)
I’m selling and signing books in the Belgrade Theatre in Coventry today, up on the first floor, pop by and say hi if you’re in town!
I’m selling my wares at the Himley Hall Halloween craft fair today. Pop by and say hi if you’re in the area!
Creepy Classics: Haunting Tales for Winter is out now! Journey back in time to Christmases past, from Regency England and Wales, through Reformation Scotland, medieval France, and the fairytale setting of King Arthur’s court, all the way to Iceland in the Viking Age www.julietteharrisson.co.uk
It’s Loki’s birthday today. Happy 1st birthday Loki! 🥳🎉🎂❤️ We’re relieved to have made it this far after the past year - here’s to many more I hope! 🤞🙏
Out filming today! We’re making another Historian and Corgi Ghost Tour. But time got away from us and we have to go back to finish tomorrow! in the 2nd pic you can see my very basic vlogging setup: Ozmo Pocket 3 (not sponsored, it’s just what I use!), book of ghost sightings, and coffee! ☕️
I haven’t managed to find a pumpkin spice latte while out yet, but instead my first taste of pumpkin spice this year was this amazing pumpkin spice coffee cake from The Olde House Tearoom. It was amazing, what a great idea!
I’m selling and signing at the Birmingham Book Extravaganza in Lightwoods House in Birmingham UK today - stop by and say hi if you’re in the area!
I introduced my son to the Romans yesterday, or I tried to! He wasn’t super interested in most of it, he just wanted to follow the folklore creatures trail that English Heritage had set up, but he was a bit freaked out by the strigil, which he said was “too scary”!
Although I’ve been busy getting out and about while the sun shines, I will be doing some work before the summer is out! I’ll be selling and signing books at the Birmingham Book Extravaganza on the bank holiday Monday. The last one was a great event, hope to see you there!
Took the boy to the Kinver Edge Rock Houses today - we’ve been many times before and know our way around, but he never gets tired of them :) and there was a cool book trail to follow for the summer holidays, thanks to the @nationaltrust.org.uk volunteers.
