This really goes to show we really need to think about our time zones in more detail than simply with/without daylight saving time. In reality, we may want to consider moving our time zones all together. For ex: move much of the northeast to Atlantic standard time outoftime.github.io/time-zones

Amtrak’s Heartland Flyer, linking the DFW area to OK & Oklahoma City, is set to be discontinued later this year. TXDOT has informed its partners that it has not been provided funding for the service. I rode the route back in 2020 & saw how important this service is to the communities it connects.
Back when reducing my driving was not an option, I gave up eating beef to help reduce my footprint. And it’s not just carbon! Beef is also EXTREMELY water and land intensive.
