Staff update: We asked Jane, our new Intern Dictator, if we could please, pretty please have at least one intern. This was her response. That’s a yes, right? Or at least, a strong maybe?? Anyhoo, Claudine has been in her feelings. She needs an intern.

Staff meeting: We are in our feelings today. Our EIC is overwhelmed (good kind) from her trip to the FFF in Bristol. Just incredible! Claudine refuses to be put down since our EIC’s return. Overwhelmed (other kind). Jane won’t respond when we inquire about new interns. TBD.
Humans, a year ago, we opened for subs. 🎉 (September is Claudine’s birthday issue! 🎂) We have received 1,879 submissions for a 3.4% acceptance rate. 🙀🙀 Claudine, personally, sends you her warmest regards and thanks! 🐈⬛ We, truly, could not do this without your care and support! 💚
Staff mtg: Claudine’s life mate, Jane, has declared a moratorium on new interns. We thought she was kidding, but two ruined mattresses later, we found out. Jane has also demanded a place on the masthead. TBD on that. Anyhoo, please meet Jane—our interim intern coordinator?
Staff meeting: We just accepted the first piece for our September BIRTHDAY issue. 🎉 yup, that’s right, Claudine will be turning 1 soon!!!! 🎂 Also, last week in the office for Sami & Charles. They will be missed, and yet their love of 5am wake-ups will not. 💚🙃🐈⬛
