Discovered a grey spot on my project, and I was immediately ill. I was able to get it out, but I was absolutely falling apart while I waited to see if it worked. The issue is that I had to use water, and I was worried the thread would bleed 😭 Blessed that it didn't 🙇🏻🙇🏻🙇🏻 #crossstitch #embroidery

I saw the cutest snail yesterday! If you've never just sat & watched one, I suggest it. They're such entertaining animals! The way their shell wobbles back and forth, their eyes, their little face,,, it's all too adorable. Hanging out in the front at night was always my favorite bc of them :'-)
Gave my parents cat her morning meds (she has kidney issues), and she dug her claws so deep into my hand, somehow missing all my nerves and veins/arteries. I didn't bleed, but I did have a hole in my skin 😔 She hates her meds, but they keep her alive, so she is SOL - Shit Outta Luck 🤷🏻🤷🏻
I think this is a Mountain Bluebird, but I could be wrong (she didn't show me much of herself). Either way, a bluebird in a dogwood was a pretty way to start my day of errands 💙🤍💚

Finally looking like a square! Thankfully, the pattern doesn't have too many boring consecutive boring rows. If it was just straight-up sc, I would have lost steam ages ago. I'm really liking how it's coming out. I think it looks way different in one color compared to what it calls for. #crochet
When I was around 6 or 7, I made this snowflake for my dad out of pipe cleaners and plastic beads. 20 years later, and he still keeps it around his rearview.

The first cuddle after Solis came back from anesthesia, so it was a very precarious situation. This whole process only took about 3 days, but it felt like forever. I was so happy to come back inside to see it, though. The past few days have been too stressful for our slow and quiet household.
