We know women use Al-powered tech at a lower rate than men; should you ever - 1 advise against it lest your cerebral cortex turns to mush - stare into the boastful abyss of "I don't normally post personal information" that is LinkedIn, this entirely sensible approach is presented as a problem that needs solving. I would suggest this reluctance to embrace tech that facilitates the generation of non-consensual sexual images, gets the most basic things wrong, costs a fortune, and causes significant damage to the environment is self-evidently sensible, but bitches be crazy and who am I to argue.
Women's wariness when using Al is neither an empowerment issue, nor a lack of information, but perhaps is down to many women having experienced, or knowing someone who has experienced, this technology being used to perpetuate misogyny as a bare minimum.

The chapter on this in Box Office Poison is absolutely wild

So rapidly are the bucolic charms of the first Babe (1995) overridden by a base note of harrowing nightmare' that my radar pings immediately for a pet favourite genre - family films that might require therapy even for the adults watching' (see also Return to Oz,* and Nicolas Roeg's 1990 version of The Witches.
It is instantly, threateningly clear that were in for a George Miller movie, rather than a cosy sequel to Chris Noonan's adorable sleeper hit, which Miller co-wrote and produced. Thanks to the creative freedom Universal semi-accidentally gave Miller from the other side of the world, this one was likely to be at least 50 percent a Mad Max film revolving around a talking pig. It was going to be savage.
I paid to see it twice as an undergraduate in December 1998, agog at the film's spine-tingling perversity, Miller's frequently astonishing staging, and the blunt homage midway to the ghetto raid from
