End the fossil fuel industry!
There is an immigrant detention facility (read: concentration camp) 11 miles outside of New York City shrouded in wildfire smoke.
New York City just had a flash flood through the Canadian wildfire smoke blotting out our skies. This is the future sellout politicians like Kathy Hochul have in store for us. It is unacceptable . Any politician who accepts fossil fuel and data center money should expect disruption.
The people didn't choose this. Big Oil and politicians did. Let this radicalize you.
Oil companies profit from pollution. We pay for the wildfires. They're making billions. We're breathing smoke.
The Canadian wildfires that are destroying Indigenous communities are no accident. They are the predictable outcome of the criminal practices of fossil fuel companies. These same companies are now in court, trying to get legal immunity for the destruction they caused.
Speculation is rampant that senior Kentucky Senator, Mitch McConnell, is in poor health. We interviewed his family to get to the bottom of it

Joan Sebastian Guerrero, a legal US citizen, was shot through the head and thrown to the pavement in front of his toddler. This cannot stand. The climate movement stands in complete solidarity with the abolish ICE movement. It must.

Something is brewing in the Pacific Ocean. It's destructive force could be so severe, some scientists have taken to calling it 'Godzilla'. The coming Super El Niño, combined with the effects of climate change, is going to wreak havoc on our communities.

So with that in mind, we're taking action. Our stories of living through climate disasters can help shake the public awake.
The combination of our already dangerously overheated climate with an El Niño that is, quiet literally, off the charts, is setting us up for a year of extreme weather unlike anything we've seen so far.
We must be prepared for what the rest of this year is going to bring. El Niño is a natural phenomenon, but it's impacts are being exacerbated by decades of greenhouse gas emissions.
At this point, you've seen the headlines. Super El Niño is coming, but what does this actually mean? We're already seeing record breaking heatwaves, destructive typhoons, and fires ripping across the countryside... and it's only July.
Oil companies wrecked the environment, private equity and insurance companies are feeling the hit on their bottom lines.
Oil companies lit the match. Data centers are pouring on the fuel. As heat waves get deadlier, and Big Oil keeps expanding fossil fuels while energy-hungry data centers drive up electricity demand instead of accelerating a clean energy transition.
CONGRATULATIONS Milat Kiros from all of us at Climate Defiance!!!!
If writing letters to congresspeople worked, we'd be doing that. If sending out petitions worked, we'd be doing that. But none of that shit worked, and the climate crisis is here — right now. So we're doing what we have to do.
While oil lawyers are arguing that companies should not be held responsible for climate damages- active climate catastrophes are taking place right outside the courtrooms.
It was amazing to be in the room with so many passionate activists and hilarious comedians.
Thanks so much to everyone who came and SOLD OUT our Just Stand Up comedy show at the Bellhouse in NY.
Last night the rich crashed out in manhattan as heir to the Levi Strauss fortune, Dan Goldman, lost his election.
Investing in green technology is not only better for the planet and your nation’s economy — it allows you to stand up to fascist bullies. Wind and solar is clearly the future. Want proof? Look to Spain.
Thanks to the legendary filmmaker Adam McKay for supporting and profiling our work! Adam is committed to the task of breaking through climate apathy — as are we <3
