Janky as in less competitively viable, whether from being too inconsistent, fragile, or overcosted for the payoff. Jank isn't necessarily bad, though, many players deliberately play jank sometimes for creativity's sake. I have a jank Zedruu deck that kills players with Nine Lives, for example.
@wotcjess.bsky.social Judge chat pointed me your way. Had a commander game where I attacked with creatures in a band (yes I am a monster) and the defending opponent wanted to use Misleading Signpost to redirect the attack, but we couldn't figure out if that would redirect the whole band or not.

hey hey hey you should absolutely go see Project Hail Mary this weekend while it's back in IMAX if you haven't already
I'm at the Panda Express I'm at the cannabis dispensary I'm at the combination Panda Express and cannabis dispensary
unfortunately this reads to me like "we are making a rule that specifically prevents debanking nazis only"

an Arabella deck with a banding subtheme (since banding is a surprisingly strong defensive keyword when you have a bunch of small bodies that don't need to tap and swing in)
liberals really can't help themselves from saying it every single fucking time
I think the only card I'm even considering adding at this point is an uncommon, Silvergill Mentor. And I'm kinda iffy on that because then I'd need a Merfolk token that's half-white, which is annoying.
