This is the watermark, right?

The same photo of a presentation as in the source article, but with the contrast dialed up to make visible a faint pattern of blotches in the slide's seemingly plain-white background.
As for the slide... It's a graph supposedly about "Current APS Funding Opportunities," but given that the map shown is horribly wrong, I'm not sure any of the information is worth the effort of transcribing. I will upon request, though.

I do think it's actually pretty liberal. Here's an update:

Does anyone else get a genAI vibe from the header and favicon on that site?

Probably maybe? I went to the OP's comments and she mentions the brand and referred to its "shock" capacity. The brand's own site says it uses "sound, vibration, or static feedback." Then I found a subreddit in which people discuss whether "static feedback" is the same thing as shocking.

One of my biggest concerns before using the Halo Collar was whether it actually shocks your dog or if it’s being misunderstood. I wanted to make sure I wasn’t causing pain or stress. Went to check bsky's community guidelines and moderation label guide to see if they make explicit what qualifies as "graphic" i.e. real vs simulated, how much is too much (no, just defined as "violence / gore") and instead had flashbacks to r/DogDiet

Ugh that's awful. Funny you mention goulash. That's one of the foods I was allegedly willing to eat as an infant. But for as long as *I* can remember, I've had a very narrow range of acceptable foods. Also FWIW, one of my earliest memories is throwing up something my godmother was feeding me.

Public interest in public transit, we love to see it!!

Given that I haven't been super into fashion for a number of years (and never to the level of recognizing most designers or houses just from the garment) I'm not terribly familiar with Ashi's work, but...it's giving knockoff, right? If they'd waited 8 more years or so, maybe it'd be homage.

It's extra offensive that almost none of this is even good advice; it's mostly the author laughing at people's neuroses.

Turn signal scrooge: “An older friend of mine tries to avoid using the blinker in his car — especially at stoplights — in order to extend the life of the blinker bulb.”

Plugging an electricity leak: This mom treated electricity like a physical fluid that could spill out of the wall. “I knew a guy whose mom used to unplug her appliances and then tie knots in the power cords so the electricity wouldn’t leak out.”

Consider one of those clip-on macro lenses! Gets the job done

Another picture of that same plant, zoomhanced with a clip-on macro lens. The narrow depth of field caused dramatic blurring and chromatic aberration around the edges of the photo. In the center of the image, the leaf's pores are just visible.

Indeed, I like taking pictures of vanity plates (when I can) and they seem to be more common than on other makes. If I hated myself more I'd sit outside the Diner for a while to take note of the worst ones. Although I was recently mildly amused by "WDYMGAS."
