🗻 7/7: Vassfjellet! Done in a tad under six hours despite the trip guide estimating eight, I'm really happy to finally have done this trip. I imagine the peak is called "Water mountain" because you're going to be REAL thirsty once you ascend 🫠 💦 ... Now to get down and bike home 🫠

🗻 6/7: Øvre Eikenuten! More of a detour on the way down from Dalsnuten, but I'll take it ✨ Now for the last (and longest) leg of the journey! 😤

🗻 5/7: Dalsnuten! This peak used to be one of my childhood Sunday trip destinations: Hiking up the peak, then making Trøndersodd (a classic Norwegian canned stew) for lunch on a portable stove. No stew today, but the medieval honey and nut bars + homegrown sugar peas will keep me going for now!

🗻 4/7: Skjørestadfjellet! More of a wide plateau, but a way up nevertheless - and now I'm half way through, the next one being a favourite of mine that I haven't climbed in years 👀 Getting rid of some water weight from my backpack, and then straight on!

🗻 3/7: Fjogstadnuten! A long way down Bjørndalsfjellet made the hike up again even tougher, but I console myself by reminding myself that I'm almost half way through already! 🔥💪

🗻 2/7: Bjørndalsfjellet! Getting into the rhythm now, slowly getting there. The sun's been hiding a bit, but the wind is a welcome guest as I try to dry my already sweaty tank top.. 🫠

🗻 1/7: Lutsifjellet! Rough start due to the initial trail being closed, so I had to improvise, but it feels good to be back in track again, seeing the beacon that marks the first checkpoint! ✨ A bit of cold brew latte and some nuts before carrying on~

I ordered 20 chicken wings today with the hope of saving half for tomorrow. Got 15 wings and a wrong sauce. Complained, got a partial refund AND a new order. Guess who ate 25 chicken wings today 🫠

Aaand back home again after NFC. Didnt get to do as much as I'd hoped and meet all the people I wished to meet, but it's been an eye-opening experience. Getting to finally lead an orchestra in front of this many people has rekindled a flame put out so long ago, and I can't wait to do it all again.
