Anyone in the market for an all weather friendly bicycle? I have a BMC hybrid bike with Gates Belt Drive, 8 speed nexus hub, mud guards, and cargo rack. Size XL (I'm 6'2" and probably the shortest you'd want to be for the frame) Had a full service less than 50km ago. #halisky #bikehalifax
These are still so jarring as someone that grew up in the US. Grateful for the warning, but also this is so far below the usual danger level I grew up with. So thankful to have the opportunity, means, and support to make Nova Scotia my home.
Finally starting my first week of MBA program at Dal. Glad the DFA got a better deal, but I feel bad they had to fight so hard and are now having to shorten their courses to fit the abbreviated term. Anyway, here's me learning how to Word Equation. This old man misses graph paper and pencil.
I had a great time! Thanks to all the organizers and marshalls. Next time I'll be more social, I promise! All the cool cyclists had me in awe. Took a detour back to my vehicle and rode up to Citadel Hill for the sunset and a view of the harbour.
Using my Toyota Sienna minivan (Truck) to get a bunch of 12' lumber from the hardware store. Yet another instance where my van is probably out cargo-ing the majority of oversized trucks.
Really can't beat the St. Margaret's Bay Trail between Ingramport and Hubbards. Very grateful to live here.

"I need my truck to haul stuff" Two bed frames and some storage bins in my mini van. I've probably hauled more stuff in this than 99% of truck owners. Off to the Habitat for Humanity ReStore.

St. Margaret's Bay gets some epic sunsets. So grateful to live in this natural beauty surrounded by genuinely caring people. I haven't regretted moving here for a single second.

My WFH outfit prioritizes comfort over all (LL Bean fleece lined button up with hood and not pictured super comfy Blue House dorm pants). Hopefully after this week my major work projects will be complete and I can get back to a more normal schedule. Until then, better life through caffeine.
