Found out there’s a bunch of people I work with that don’t know how to swim… So, I’m hosting a small pool party for the “swim team” next week. Low stress lessons and time in the pool to practice. Gonna avoid this:

Did one for the dog gear too.

Needed a second coat. Then tried my best to line everything up nice and level, spaced evenly. I think I could hang off of these and they wouldn’t go anywhere. $10 moulding. $15 hooks. No more drywall anchors.

Patch, sand, and paint.

So I cut some MDF molding to sink the towel rack into, and the MDF will be screw into the studs. While I’m at it, extra one for some hooks for extra towels (kid’s friends etc). Nice little round over on the moulding with the router.

Weekend side quest, to keep this place from totally falling apart. Bathroom towel rack pulling out of the wall. Heavy towels and so many kids changing really stress dry way anchors.
