Why are we paying taxes? Taxation without representation was a significant reason for the Revolutionary War and the US becoming an independent country. Proof why history lessons are important. Billionaires pay nothing and get richer, we pay more and aren’t provided minimal programs & funding.

The mental gymnastics people do to bow to their king despite that he is a conman & grifter making billions off the presidency, a rich & entitled draft dodger who disparages veterans, war criminal, traitor, bigot, narcissistic sociopath, and most importantly a rapist and pedophile is baffling.

They all love their anti-DEI president which really is just pro white unqualified men and sycophants. The women go first….people of color will be next despite loyalty. Good riddance, they all suck but very telling who’s getting the axe first. Some people have to be in a constant state of dread.

The world sucks and the US is causing most of it. Sometimes I cannot handle the influx of horrible news. So a little levity from an elder millennial.

Unfortunately by voting for Trump, they did vote for this but I understand the sentiment that many didn’t want some of these things.

When this administration ends, the next one needs to pass legislation that a president cannot pardon his cabinet, gov’t officials, or anyone where they are implicated in the crime (Epstein, the insurrection, ICE crimes,etc.) Or sooner if enough democrats are elected to overturn a presidential veto.

I’m loving these Olympians. True patriots. Speaking for real Americans. Speaking out against the cesspool of monsters who worship or cower to a paedophile president. May they all continue to do us proud not just with wins but with their voices.

Stand with Minnesota!

I didn’t realize being a liberal mom who drinks wine, believes in the constitution, equitably, kindness, and who opposes a cruel autocracy made me an organized gang? My social circle is nowhere big enough to be a “gang” & I’m definitely not organized. However I am a pissed off momma & I’m not alone.

I need to certify my dog as a service animal so he’s always with me. He hates strange men anywhere near me especially if I haven’t noticed them close yet. He loves my hubby best but will even nip his bum if we’re goofing around & he thinks I’m being hurt. He’d eat ICE if they came near me.

I stand with Minnesota. Abolish ICE and prosecute these criminals. No more assaults on protesters. No more kidnapping people off the streets to be disappeared and tortured. No more terrorizing communities across the country. No more blatant murder. It’s time for accountability.

Less press releases and more action from all leaders from both sides!

How much longer will our elected officials & judicial system allow this? Moving from crimes at home to numerous international war crimes. When retaliation potentially comes from the rest of Maduro’s regime, the red MAGA states to the south are his closest & largest targets. MAGA feeling great yet?

As I go to sleep on this last night of a horrifying 2025 of corruption, hatred, and immorality, my heart aches. I hope to wake up to a 2026 that is a year of accountability, consequences, and reckoning. This is not just about politics, it’s about humanity. May good overcome evil.

My city just elected the first black woman to the state Senate in a special election preventing a Republican super majority. She won by more than double digits. This is after my state already flipped two seats blue. I currently live in a red state & the blue wave is here! Congrats Renee Hardman!

I really want to know what the GOP is going to tell their kids/grandkids about how they allowed a child raping, felon, conman, bigot, treasonous wannabe dictator destroy our democracy and country. They have control of all branches of government and could stop this at any time and don’t. Cowards!

My parents raised me to be a Republican. They also ensured I was highly educated. To their dismay, my higher education turned me into *gasp* a democrat and even worse, a big fan of Bernie, AOC, and Crocket. Educated women are good trouble.

I’d like a real president and not a psychopath grifting conman hell bent on destroying his political enemies and America along with them. I’d like a country that embraces immigrants and people of color who pay taxes & work hard contributing to society and not his billionaires buddies who don’t.
