Back then, I used to do everything for my parents. Just to see them smile. For a pat on the head, to be a good boy.
No matter how reckless or dangerous, if it made them happy, I would do it.
Later, I'd daydream about giving them a peace of my mind. Scolding them for all of it.
It's strange seeing them like this. Begging me silently to forgive them for something they won't apologize for. All it takes is my word to satisfy them. The simplest job I've ever had.
My mind goes blank. There's only one thing I want to say.

Iruma smiles, flat and driven. All he says is "Teach me how to summon a demon."

MAIRUMA SPOILERS UP TO 449: -- My turn to ask a favour. (1/2)

A messy comic. Iruma, in a hoodie, stands outside an apartment door. Narration is written as follows.
'It was surprisingly easy to find them. I asked around a few of the places I used to work, and eventually got pointed to this address.
I asked Clara and Azz-kun to find me, but I can't just sit around and expect to be saved. So I decided to take myself back home.'
Iruma looks up, saying, "Excuse me, I'm looking for the Suzukis? Suzuki Takashi and Hiromi. Do they still live here?"
Off screen, a voice says "Iruma? Is that you?"

Iruma walks through a hallway, thinking to himself.
'He brought me inside. I didn't recognize this apartment, but that's wasn't surprising. They always did move around a bunch. And I spent most of my time in the tent. Did I ever live here? I don't really know what I was expecting from them. Would they cry and apologize? Cheer and clap? Try and send me off to another dangerous job? Part of me had wondered if they'd even recognize me.'
Irumas parents off screen begin speaking to him in a variety of speech bubbles, saying they miss him, are happy to see him, surprised to see him, etc. Overlayed on this, a textbox reads: "It's funny, in my dreams, in my memories, my parents were always… like a hurricane. Violent winds tossing me every which way with no rhyme or reason, me at the mercy of their whims. But now, they're..."

"Iruma?"

Harumi and Takeshi are just two humans, looking at Iruma with a mild concern, more for themselves than for him.

Were they always like this?, Iruma thinks.
