The cats just sent in a spokesman to say that they are all hungry, both porches' residents immediate demand attention. I guess I need to go before more cats arrive.

Things in my garden today. That was the 2nd mantis I had to relocate to keep it out of my way.
I do wire & bead work. One of my many cats loves to jump up on my desk & plop down on top of the little dishes of beads, wires & pokie tools. He is then pissed when I try to retrieve the beads, wires & pokie tools. This is a piece in progress & a finished piece.
Took my grandson to parade yesterday & ended up wondering just what these riders think bring tread on is, bc I feel trampled on right now. I guess Republican only feel tread on if the have to treat all ppl as equal. We live in Oregon's purple zone, east of the Cascades.
It's hard to see the spider in its jaws. This wasp was on a flower when I 1st saw it. It was not at all co-operative in its photo shoot. #Bee

I was trying to get a Pic of Flashes cute little heart shaped nostrils. He was having none of it & covered his nose. Apparently, nose shots are not in our contract.
This is my favorite photo of the coast (even though fog freaks me out). I stare at it when, as Golden Earring sang, the longing gets too much. I miss the Pacific so much it is an ache. Thank you for posting pictures.

I really like the colors, it would look nice w the necklace i made for my birthday a couple weeks ago. The rock inspired the sun side of the design. I broke a wire on the back & had to wing it there.

My yard is blooming, bees are buzzing. Poppies are rather invasive, I'm already pulling the ones that are finished blooming before the seed heads open.
Beautiful, still slightly feral, Sybil is 20 this summer.
Poppies blooming now, sunflowers will be filling this area soon. My gift to the bees & birds.
I do wire wrapping on stones i find & polish. I was working on this piece yesterday when my grandson's friends mom came to get him. She asked how long i did it before I was pleased with results. I told her 3 years mostly, but sometimes, not yet. Art is a learning process.
My red Magnolia blooms early spring, before it has leaves. My Magnolia Grandifloras are blooming now. They don't lose leaves in fall, they're shedding old leaves now. They usually bloom for 4-6 weeks. I just took this pic for you. I wish you could smell it.
