Hey, @bsky.app... why not STOP hacking users accounts and having them DM people about a stupid BADGE thing? Huh? HMMM? Just post it on the main timeline for all to see. Don't stoop to this fucking level. Jebus. TWO of these, in two days. Don't do this crap.
Here's something I didn't know. The movie THIEF had an alternate title in some countries... VIOLENT STREETS. Huh...weird.
Turned on the TV and this was on. Had to watch it West Side Story is my favorite musical, but Singin in the Rain is the best musical of all time
Shot and killed for attempting to flee the scene. Did NOT try to run over ICE agents, like all the right-wingers tried to claim, the usual talking point. Nope...ICE ignored all regulations and shot at a non-violent offender. WHO WASN'T EVEN THE OFFENDER
Ok, I knew that “The Jeffersons” was a spinoff of “All in the Family.” I didn’t realize that “Maude” was as well! Maude is Edith’s outspoken cousin
The Honeymooners is timeless. And ahead of its time. Ralph always was bone headed and wrong, and over reacted, and Alice was always level headed, even though he saw her as overbearing and crazy. All us guys are lucky to have our wives who put up with us
DIE HARD (1988) hits in so many ways...this is just but one.
32 years ago, I met my future wife, @bootsyross.bsky.social. In a couple weeks, we will celebrate our 30th wedding Anniversary.
So, my 1966 Mamiya Secor 500TL has to be retired. The light meter isn’t functioning and cannot be repaired. But the good news is that the money I spent to repair it was refunded, and just enough to buy a Canon AE-1. Now I can finally shoot that B&W Ilford film my wife gave me at Christmas
Wow...the Lincoln Memorial isn't doing much better.
My wife, @bootsyross.bsky.social, pointed out that the Reflecting Pool situation is really getting out of hand.
Settling in for a night at the movies with my wife and kid. My favorite Hitchcock film as a birthday present from my lovely wife
There are some movies that are so bad they are good. This is not one of those movies. But, we did recognize many locations in it, that are still there. Like this car wash.
When they installed it, they used sissor lifts and did it in 3-4 hours! Taking it down? an 18 hour process apparently
These "letter removal guys" are all acting like union workers in "golden time" overtime. Been there since 9AM EST, and now just sitting there munching on sandwiches or something.
Apparently, a show I work on, THE SECRET OF SKINWALKER RANCH...served as partial inspiration for Steven Spielberg's latest film, DISCLOSURE DAY. www.syfy.com/syfy-wire/wh...
HAHAHAHA! American Independent. They, unfortunately, got the worse abbreviation!
Los Angeles has 4x more registered Dem than Rep...even no-party-affiliation outnumbers Rep. It is a sea of blue. So...for some reason, it's odd to right-wingers that a GOP candidate...a reality star with no gov experience at all, didn't make the cut in his bid to run the 2nd largest city in the US?
Rock Hudson as a Native American in "Winchester '73" is pretty ridiculous. Also funny to have Grandpa Walton as Wyatt Earp.

John McTiernan had a thing about dad's bringing daughters big teddy bears with red bows as gifts on planes. Only Jack Ryan's got a seat of it's own. McClane's was stuff in an overhead.
Another one I spotted while showing THE VERDICT (1982) to my kid... Bruce Willis and Tobin Bell in the courtroom as extras. Bruce Willis starred in Moonlighting just 3 years later and onto mega stardom. Tobin Bell in many things, but best known for THE SAW

I love seeing great actors in early roles. In the movie, THE HUNGER (1983, Tony Scott), actors Willem Dafoe and John Pankow play "Phone Booth Youths," essentially extras with lines. Both actors would reunite for starring roles in TO LIVE AND DIE IN LA two years later.

Interesting that this film is "introducing Michael Caine," when he did 30 films and TV projects before this. (guess the film, don't cheat)
