Ended Swiss in 2nd yesterday of Excalibur’s Pittsburgh $10k🎉 Sadly got hit with variance super hard in my top 16 game and whiffed on 12 cards with a curiosity effect on my Crystal. 🫠 Super happy with the run but losing to that math was definitely heartbreaking 💔

Came in 3rd yesterday at a Gold Event on Crystal Deck felt really awesome to pilot and like a really cool return to a lot of other decks I really enjoy. Still needs fine-tuning but I’m excited to work on it more!

Reflecting on this past weekend has been quite funny, 3 tournaments 1 weekend: 64 player CO event 2-1-1 w/Scion 308 player Siege 10k 0-1-4 drop w/Scion 148 player Redemption - Ended Swiss 2-1-1 and lost an intense Top 16 on Tayam

Made Top 16 today at the Atlantic City NJ cEDH today with Xyris! Started the day 2-0-1 but sadly couldn’t keep the streak up and took 3 losses in a row after that. Highlight of the day was ending round 3 with 92 snake tokens 🤣🤣🤣

A little heartbroken to have bubbled out on my tiebreakers again at a major event. Hard not to be proud of 18/264 but several of us were certain that 16 locked us in after the Boil’s results. Brought back flips into Kinnan which felt cool to play again at the least :)

I went undefeated today with Tivit at the Kraken’s Cup!!!! Ended Swiss in first at 3-0-2 and won the finals :D 4-0-2 on the day feels great 😊

Took Winota for a spin this weekend and made Top 16. Honestly still feel pretty good about the deck for having, objectively, one of the unluckiest tournaments of my career 😅 I’ll drop some examples below. Thanks a ton for Nat 20 games for having me out it was awesome!!

Ended today in 2nd (1st leaving Swiss) on Superior Spider-Man! Decklist was a blast to play and I might try it again next weekend at the 5k!!! Ended 3-1-1 on the day only losing in the finals to an epic series of opponent draws and plays! :)

Finally back home from Rhode Island, Feels like I barely made it back and sadly I think the storm may have damaged my engine BUT We survived and I was able to walk away with a Top 16 on Rog/Thras Ended the event 3-3-3

This just dropped in the Lorwyn stream and I’m terrified for what this will do to cEDH. Some people will argue that this means “run more removal” but in a format where the stack matters so much I can see this card doing so much harm. Genuinely think THIS CARD IS A MISTAKE

Ended up coming in 2nd today with my updated version of Plagon at a 73 person tournament today!!! Super happy with the run and so glad to take this fringe list to the Top going 4-2-1 on the day!

Who am I seeing in California in a few weeks?!?! So excited for this event and love that it really balances the payout between all of the top cut!!

Was really happy leaving Swiss in 3rd this weekend with my take on Rog/Thras. Been cooking with the deck for months and finally got it to a comfortable place and it felt amazing. Sadly I had the worst mulligan to 3 in the semis and wasn’t able to recover before Kinnan won.
