On a sci-fi note. For years, in sci-fi movies and series, space vessels have been designed as if there is friction in space, justifying the need for sleek fuselage, and wings, as if to fly! The reality, as illustrated by the Gorn Heavy cruiser, is that shape and design are irrelevant in a vacuum!
It's the same design as the space ship shaped formation at the bottom of the Baltic Sea. Was that the design inspiration?
