◤◢◤◢◤◢ CALENDAR WEEK 30 ◤◢◤◢◤◢ Just reposting last week's schedule with new dates. Fingers crossed that temperatures are more sensible this time around.

◤◢◤◢◤◢ CALENDAR WEEK 29 ◤◢◤◢◤◢ One big push to finally finish Front Mission 2, weather permitting.

I really need to get my hands on a spot cooler or something. It's the least warm day of the weekend and the baseline temperature for the monitor room is still like this 🫠

◤◢◤◢◤◢ CALENDAR WEEK 27 ◤◢◤◢◤◢ Hopefully a much more temperate week than last. The Thursday stream is uncertain because my work calendar is still pretty crazy, but there will be longer session on Saturday one way or another.

I've mapped the missions out and we're closer to 100% than I had thought. Let's get the good ending and wrap Ace Combat 2 up. Live in 30 minutes!

◤◢◤◢◤◢ CALENDAR WEEK 24 ◤◢◤◢◤◢ Bit of a half-baked schedule because it turned out to be a busier week than anticipated. We'll do FM2 on Thursday and AC2 *at some point* during the weekend. If the latter happens on Friday or Sunday, it'll start earlier than usual.

It's Strangereal Saturday! Today I'm playing Ace Combat 2. Take-off in 20 minutes!

◤◢◤◢◤◢ CALENDAR WEEK 23 ◤◢◤◢◤◢ Back to our regular-ish scheduling this week. The setup seems a bit more stable after the GPU swap, so hopefully we can do both FM2 and AC2 without it shitting the bed.

Sorry for the radio silence since Thursday. I have been battling with my custom resolution settings again. It's unlikely that the AC2 stream will happen today, but I'll post again if I can do more impromptu Front Mission or Wipeout streams over the next few days.

I did fix the D70, though! Despite the "this card cannot be used" error, the issue was caused by the CCD ribbon cable not being seated properly. I've rebuilt it and everything works fine now.

I may have spoken too soon. I need to reboot to clear this error, which may break everything. Hang tight.

◤◢◤◢◤◢ CALENDAR WEEK 17 ◤◢◤◢◤◢ My video output settings are still a bit precarious and I'm extremely busy in the second half of the week, but let's try to make a bit of progress in FM2.

Stream incoming in 30 minutes! The PS1 is back in the rotation, so we're going back to the origins of the Ace Combat series.

Incidentally, very kind of Sony to leave a little nook where the RX and TX wires can hang out so that you don't have to take your busted PS3 apart again. I'll probably leave these in permanently.

Quick PS3 Super Slim update: I've tapped into the SYSCON chip looking for clues about the shutdown issue, but the error log is completely empty. I'm hoping that my hunch about it being a PSU issue is correct. I'll try replacing it and report back.

Doing some last minute prep, but I'm hoping to go live in half an hour. On today's work stream, I'll be full spectrum modding a Nikon D70 for IR photography.

◤◢◤◢◤◢ CALENDAR WEEK 15 ◤◢◤◢◤◢ An alternative POV in Front Mission 2, and another handcam work stream. This time I'll be modding a cheap DSLR for infrared photography.

Quick change of plans! I got all the parts I need, so we'll do PS3 maintenance today. I need to do a bit of extra prep, but hopefully won't be too late.
