#Hobbystreak 433. I have painted the skin on three more saurus warriors. Hopefully I can get the rest done tomorrow, though I do have some more urgent things that need doing first.
#Hobbystreak 432. I highlighted the skin and weapon on the saurus warriors champion. I would have done the rest of the unit but I was feeling quite low on energy today for some reason.
#Hobbystreak 431. I've continued working on the saurus warriors today. I had a bit of a problem figuring out how to do the highlights on the magenta scales. In the end I decided to use an orange rather than a lighter pink. I think it worked quite nicely.
Saturday was our local carnival and my family and I got dressed up as usual. My wife and daughters dressed as fairies and I played a satyr/faun. Unfortunately my son isn't interested in dressing up and didn't join us. He'll be coming to stay next week though. This is my costume, what do you think?
#Hobbystreak 430. I've been painting the saurus warriors this evening. Just trying to get the base coats down on the skin and scales. I got most of it done. Just 5 more to do the skin on. Definitely at the "trust the process" stage here.
Today I waved goodbye to my Death Guard army. It was actually quite bittersweet to be honest. I am pretty proud of the paint job and I've had a lot of fun playing with it over the years. But we needed the space and I can now focus on other projects.
#Hobbystreak 427. Finishing touches on carnival costumes was the main task today. I have managed to start the yellow sections on the saurus warriors shields.
#Hobbystreak 426. It's been a busy day to be honest and most of my creative energy went into working on stuff for my carnival costume. I did however find time to dry brush some white onto the saurus warriors and their shields ready for the Contrast step.
#hobbystreak 425. I've primed the saurus warriors. I've also been busy with carnival costume stuff and having a tooth extracted. Fun times!
#hobbystreak 422, 423 and 424. Unfortunately I am not very well at the moment. I have managed to get a little hobby done each day though. I've primed some test models, worked on Dungeon Saga and my Stormcast, as well as Pathfinder campaign prep. I've also been working on my costume for carnival too.
#hobbystreak 418 - 421. This heat is just ridiculous. I have been doing a little bit of hobby each day. I finished the Spearhead terrain, built the saurus warriors and have been painting some of my Dungeon Saga models. I've also done some campaign prep for Pathfinde.
#hobbystreak 414. I primed the models I assembled yesterday and began laying down the basecoats on Mollog.
#hobbystreak 413. I've been sorting out a lot of games and models for sale today but I did manage to build a couple of the models that I plan on using in the local painting competition this winter.
#hobbystreak 412. More work on the tanks. I've also planned out what I'm going to paint for the winter painting competition run by my FLGS. I'm going to have to start soon though. Epic Warpath may get sidelined for a while. Spearhead magazine will still be done as it arrives however.
#hobbystreak 411. Did a little bit more work on the Lancer tanks for the Epic Warpath GCPS.
Post a mini you are proud of. I've posted her before but I really am pleased with the result on her. Bust painting was never my thing but I have learned a lot from doing it.
#hobbystreak 408. I finished the Lord Vigilant and then set about working on my GCPS force for Epic Warpath.
The Lord Vigilant is finished and another Spearhead is complete. #warhammer #ageofsigmar
#hobbystreak 407. Just the basing and a varnish left to do on the Lord Vigilant.
#hobbystreak 406. Just need to highlight the metallics, paint the parchments and do the constellations on the cloak, then it's basing and done.
#hobbystreak 405. Continued working on the Lord Vigilant. Not far to go now.
#hobbystreak 404. Hobby not found. Okay that's a fib. I worked on the Lord Vigilant for the Stormcast Spearhead.
#hobbystreak 403. Not feeling great today so all I managed was priming a battlewagon because it was easy.
#hobbystreak 402. Last night was the second session of our Pathfinder campaign and the party delved into a previously undiscovered dungeon. The new map style went down well, so I'll be continuing with it for a while to see if the time it takes to do is worth it.
#hobbystreak 396. I've basecoated the feathers of the mount, all of the cloth and applied the starfield effect to the armour.
#hobbystreak 394 and 395. On Sunday I airbrushed the darker tones on the Lord Vigilant and yesterday was the epilogue of our Festive D&D campaign which was insanely good fun.
#hobbystreak 393. Clawlord on Gnawbeast is finished and another Spearhead force is completed. #ageofsigmar #warhammer
#hobbystreak 392. Nearly finished the Clawlord. Will just take a quick bit of work in the morning then done.
#hobbystreak 390 and 391. I finished off the two gladiators for Blood on the Sands, and I have nearly finished the Clawlord on Gnawbeast too.
I finished painting the two gladiators I got free with this month's Wargames Illustrated for Blood on the Sands. I'm looking forward to trying the game out.
