1/2 of @idieyoudie.bsky.social. NJPW podcasts at @postwrestling.com. Blue Jays, science/weird fiction, scotch whisky, beer. He/him. Opinions mine, not employer's. Ⓥ "The Parker Brothers took time to think this all out. I think we should respect that."
Richie seeing Simon Gotch skulking around the Performance Center wearing the jacket.
IIRC, Kirk has a knife-fight with a beast-man in a gladiator pit and makes out with Florence Henderson in this one.
Look, you can only stave off the curse of Papa Shango's black goo for so long and Giuliani did better than most.
I've had a nigh-undrinkable hopped Canadian whisky taking up shelf space for a decade (NA craft whisky got weird for a while). Finally got around to making a whisky sour with it and the lemon and sugar nicely sublimate all the oddball herbal/Amaro notes.
It's a thing. The above is from Toronto (as is the Bellweiser from Bellwoods) and is sold exclusively in top loading cardboard sixers for proper 70s/80s vibes. This one's from metro Van and aims more 90s (though not quite Michael Ironside imbuing Labatt Ice with the power of lightning and Ministry):
The haul from the wonderfully curated and maintained Bakka-Phoenix Books in Toronto. Samuel Delany's "Times Square Red, Times Square Blue" Kirsten Kaschock's "An Impossibility Of Crows" @premeemohamed.com's "One Message Remains" Gene Wolfe's "The Fifth Head Of Cerberus"
"I don't like it. He's got Yota Tsuji, Ryohei Oiwa, and Mistico. What do we got?" "Ava Raine Johnson." "Ay-yi-yi-yi-yi-yi-yi-yi."
The continued slander of Big Roy's tonsorial choices bugs me. This is the hairdo of a man with strong and considered opinions about Amebix and Blitz records.
I mean, I'm given to understand that one has to aim, dodge, and blast in that form of combat, too.
"Questions. Mogging. Softmaxxing. Canthal tilts." "Don't know. I don't know such stuff. I just do negging. Ju...ju...just negging...just PUA game...just negging."
