The magnitude of the heat this week is impressive.

Temperature anomaly map highlighting Thursday forecast high temperatures across the eastern half of the United States, showing locations expected to run significantly above normal for late June. Yellow circles mark areas forecast to be 10–14°F above normal, spread broadly from the Upper Midwest and Great Lakes through the Ohio Valley, Appalachians, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, and parts of New England. Bought a whittling knife that was very highly reviewed. Top reviewer gave it 5 stars but did say that it’s incredibly sharp and odd to retract and he went to the ER with a deep cut. Me, 30 seconds after opening it. Could probably use a couple stitches, but it’ll probably be okay. So much blood. 😂
