Fun retro Halloween finds in Walgreens while waiting for my husband to do some pharmacy stuff. (Well, except for the nutcrackers. Those aren’t exactly retro but they were fun.)
Had some errands to run at Lowe’s and Walgreens today. Was delighted to see Halloween is starting to show up at both. 🎃
You will have a happy Caturday as long as you don’t try to touch Mr. G’s butterfly. “I pity the fool” who doesn’t listen. 🤣
Had to screenshot this Short and its title. Once upon a time in America we had REAL reporters who would’ve nutted up and called BS on Gangster-In-Chief Trump trying to shake down the world for protection money after HE started the chaos Straight of Hormuz.
How cool is this? Books for the enjoying in the lobby of the Hotel Reykjavik Centrum in Iceland. #Booksky
A scam text trying to bait me into a reply. Nice try. Points for novelty, but upset? If I knew you, I’d want to fix it. Since I don’t, I have no f*cks to give.
Mr. G said, “It isn’t Caturday but I think it’s Whisker Wednesday, so I will pose for you. You may post my wonderful whiskers on Bluesky for all to admire. You’re welcome.”
It was Sunday, December 7, 2025 when we visited the Pearl Harbor Memorial. Pure chance we were there on the 84th anniversary of the bombing. (Which also happened on a Sunday.) This Memorial Day, I’m thinking of that somber, sobering visit.
There were tons of peacocks all over the Crystal Palace Gardens in Porto, Portugal. But this peahen admiring her reflection caught my eye and cracked me up…and revealed a secret roosting refuge beloved by her fellow peafowl.
It can’t be a “party boat” without the disco ball, right? ⛵️ 🪩 💃
Second video of baby birds taken on May 16. Getting fed again but look how much bigger they are in just one week!
The yellow fella was Tigger, a stray who adopted us in 2016. He was then adopted by G (the Tuxie), after Tigger’s other BFF, Harold (who was also a black & white cat), was hit by a car…while Tig watched. 😢 G helped him through his mourning. Sadly, Tig died in 2020. G and I both still miss him.
Our neighbor cat Zeus (whose real name may be Vinni) just “buzzing” by to wish us a happy Caturday!
Morning off to a "great" start. Cigna wants to "reassure" me about my healthcare, which they effectively just canceled, starting in 2027. This is after they raised my premiums from $850/mo to $1,200/mo this year. IF I can procure healthcare next year anywhere, it will only be more. #FeelingBroke
Does this metro entrance in Bilbao, Spain, remind anyone else of a Slinky? #Travel #Travelsky
In my life, I never thought I’d say an eel is cute, but this cheeky little fella changed my mind.
Whoops. Little late sharing this cute Easter egg tree we saw in the park on our walk the other day. Found it while cleaning up photos. Oh well. Better late than never, right?
Starting the morning with Caturday raspberries. So this is how the day’s going to go…
