I would not say that #Burnham has been used. #Starmer had the chance to communicate with the electorate better and failed. Labour have a bump now in the polls. It is up to The King Of The North to keep it.

Sadly, calling for peace and diplomacy has not stopped Russia being “forced” to invade Moldova, Georgia (twice) or stopped it invading Ukraine for the second time. #BBCaq

While I want peace and diplomacy to triumph, Russia has shown it has no interest in that. Not just with its current (second) invasion of Ukraine, but with its two previous invasions of Georgia as well as its invasion of Moldova. #BBCaq

#Appeasement did not work before 1939 with the #Sudetenland. It did not work with Russia after it invaded Moldova as it then invaded Georgia twice (the first invasion resulting in #NATOexpansion) and is now on its second invasion of Ukraine.
