Grow your own food, they said. It’s easy, they said. Here are the potatoes I managed to grow from 9 potatoes that grew well indoors in my cabinet but got flooded out too often outdoors in the planter.

Costumes in “Singin’ in the Rain” fit impeccably. Clearly it’s possible to tailor clothes to fit and move and look flattering and fashionable. These suits’ grids line up across the legs and, very often, top to bottom. I should probably see if/what DieWorkWear has said about Walter Plunkett.
I’ve been debating whether I should spend a few grand fixing my venerable car up of buy a “new” one before everything goes wrong. I’m starting to think a new one might be easier than playing whack a mole repairs after this happened.
I can’t upload video right now so here’s the TL;DR Water got in through the door opening. Brought the dog back upstairs, washed our paws, ate some cheese, threw a mosquito dunk into the floodwater and called it a night. anything the water can damage is up high. I’ll cope tomorrow.
Went to basement because I thought I heard tornado sirens. Was annoyed by tiny bit of water in front of the basement door. (it’s sunken) I thought we dealt with the water issues last year.

Gracias. I will be reassessed by a surgeon next week after the swelling goes down a bit. Thankfully the boot tightens on my calf enough that I don’t put full weight on it. Seriously tempted to keep poking the broken bit until it realigns.
Technically the january trip took december to mid february. Pulled in at sturgis because the highway patrol waved us off the interstate there. High winds were blowing existing snow so much they closed it. Recommend the dinosaur museum in Missoula.
I have driven SoCal-Seattle-Montana-Minnesota- KC-Vail-Zion-SoCal in January. SoCal-Phoenix-Austin-MN-SoCal in July. MN-Montreal-Boston. I would not tackle this planned road trip in this time frame.
Mine is part bat, I’m pretty sure. Likes to leap and steeplechase squirrels. Has probably torn 2nd dog-ACL vaulting off the deck. (Black lab & shepherd? muppet, casually employed - think mall security)
The iPhone14’s camera is “better” than the iPhone6s camera but it takes way worse snapshots. For more deliberate photos it keeps focusing just out of range. I can see it go in focus then it goes a fraction too far & won’t back off for love nor money, nor inventive swearing. i
My cousin’s kid drew a cool af dragon and I want it on a shirt. The image is a little messy because it’s drawn on scrap paper. She’s drawing me a new one (with magma powers) and I’m thrilled but also this one is a boss level dragon. Not shown is, per stats, the wings glow like an aurora.
I think a lot about this meme advice. It would help if I thought about it more when I’m actively cranky. Add If sounds are making me gag, or if I have road rage: drink (at least 300ml of water or equivalent)

My chaos charcuterie as a result of stocking up for being snowed in and feeling indecisive. Blueberries not shown. I set out to make a ham & hummus sandwich and things got out of hand.
Some of my favorite types of textures! The color is similar to a cholla garden at dusk. Niche tip: If you get several days right around freezing, turn over patches of moss and other low density ground to see if any ice stalactites grew
Back to joymaxing by watching reaction videos to Heated Rivalry & petting my dog after -seeing evidence of my home state stepping up against ICE and - writing my Congress critters about upholding the constitution and - letting my dog dig a hole in the yard.
The plants currently in my house are the top of a pineapple that was already throwing out roots when I cut the fruit, an apple seedling with 5 leaves, and a bunch of potatoes I forgot to eat. I need to get the potatoes in some soil.
