I'm a travel agent specializing in Disney, Universal, and cruises 🎢 homeschooling (secular) a 2e kid who is addicted to books. I'm the hell of a mom & whimsical crocheter of What a Hell of a Way to Dad
Well, I'm sold. This is definitely the $45 tabletop hydroponics system for me.
I've never seen anyone actually finish this Mars Lander game. @whatahellofawaytodad.com
"Pay for contacting emergency services" fuck off #Samsung #enshittification
It's been a rough week and i'm learning to seek out wide open space when it feels like the walls are closing in. (Nothing catastrophic, just getting over a sinus infection, struggling with being a good dance mom, finishing a professional cert, concerned about a friend, etc.)
It usually takes me awhile to finish non-fiction books because I read the kind of non-fiction that makes me mad. This one is infuriating but I haven't put it down all day. (Between sinus infection naps.)
The kid loves comics treasuries of all sorts. Everyone loves The Far Side and Calvin & Hobbes, but where are the Herman fans?
I make whatever I'm in the mood for, and right now my brain is obsessed with this yarn. Buy some Yip Yips so I can buy more colors! whatahellofawaytodad.com/products/han...
We're trying to acclimate ourselves to Florida weather (easy to do in St Louis) for a late summer trip, and I reinstalled Pikmin Bloom for motivation. We haven't played in years and had a blast catching up & remembering all our silly pikmin names!
This team member is really not pulling his weight in the podcast planning meeting
Took two pictures today, the other one of the kid, to commemorate an act of bravery for an urban indoors kid conquering a vast wide open space. We have to get our indoor kids outside, and we have to put our own phones away.
It's a Pet Rock Adoption Event Weekend! Free range rocks, collected and raised with kindness and enrichment. Comes in its own habitat with a bed of grass. This is the first time they are available in the shop! Use TECHNICAL for 10% off. whatahellofawaytodad.com/products/pet...
Me: ugh my allergies are so bad this week, I can't imagine why! What I see when I open my eyes in the morning:
Costco on a fucking Sunday. Executive shopping hours are great, but I would pay twice as much for solo shopping. Leave your partner who is only coming to sightsee at home. No families of 12 (which I also saw today.)
He's big mad bc I changed the sheets but I'm not ready for bed yet. #orangetabby
Friday morning view. Today's book is The Bullet That Missed by Richard Osman (reread -- I love Thursday Murder Club)
Getting ready for the Bevo Mill Birthday Party tomorrow night, and St Charles Pride on Saturday! I hope I have enough gummy worms this year.
Back to The Anxious Generation by Jonathan Haidt, which I have only been able to get through one chapter at a time, with an interval of reading a whole other book between chapters. This chapter is primarily about how damaging Instagram is for girls and it tracks.
This guy is sitting in a 48 hour time-out for a joke so old he doesn't remember what it was about. Tonight we're working on our plan for Hallmark Christmas in July, because yes, we will still be on that bullshit this year. @whatahellofawaytodad
They finally got rid of the asbestos floor tile. Apparently they went with encapsulation under 6" of concrete and just went around the moonshine still so now it appears sunken. 🤣
Once I got into this, I finished it in about 48 hours. I have some complaints about scale, but I am annoying when it comes to spacial reasoning. Otherwise, I love his style of storytelling and I couldn't put it down.
Hot tip for my STL families: Frisco TX Is several hours closer by car than Gulf Shores or Destin or Pensacola. And yes I do book all of the US Universal destinations!
