I've been let go by Stuff today as one of their weekly cartoonists. I'm incredibly gutted. I've been with the paper for over 8 years. To every person who read, shared, laughed or felt seen by my work. Thank you. You're my people! I won't give up. Just need some time to recalibrate.

My cartoon in today's www.thepost.co.nz/nz-news/3610... For the people crowing how great this plan is... in a climate of costs exploding, fuel, food, clothing, medicine, dental, education etc this is just another cost that'll push the most vulnerable into choosing between living or existing.

Out on the open sea the National mini speed boat has its engine clunking in the air as it gets pulled down by a huge anchor. The anchor is a rusty Luxon head shouting, "IM NOT GOING ANYWHERE!"
