I do find this part of it interesting. Even when you look just at US-based creators (increasingly less dominant even at the Big Two!) the West Coast was already taking over.

When the new Marvel Comics leadership came on board in May, it began meeting with staff in the New York office to assess the feasibility of such a combination. As part of that process, they conducted an audit of where comic creators are based.

And where once most creators lived in the Tri-State area, today’s creator community is global. And among the U.S.-based contingent, more are located in California than in New York

Upon review, the Government confirmed the documents in question were copies of the Volume II Report that were embedded within electronic messages required to be produced in discovery. Upon confirmation by the Government, defense counsel voluntarily ceased review of the discovery material, affirmed they had not examined the documents in question, deleted all discovery materials already downloaded to their server, and cooperated with the Government’s efforts to recover the flash drives that same day.

When I first saw this poll I just hated how people will never stop saying "Okay, TRUMP sucks at this, but I still trust REPUBLICANS to do it right" no matter how many times we touch the stove, but if they want to start a fight on one of the issues where that's not a factor....cool?
