Wow, this is a gem. From Mechanika by Doug Chiang, published in 2008. Instructs to scan in a physical sketch, color a black section on the sketch, then scan it again. Then use the first scanned image in "lighten" mode to add white lines over the black section. Its so easy to forget how far weve come

Anything by Zdzisław Beksiński, but this one in particular. I viscerally dislike it. The longer I look at it, the more uncomfortable I feel. Its like the concept of anxiety trapped in a viscous fluid.

So I finally ordered the book. I love it when this happens! My copy was clearly very loved, every flagged page has highlighted passages. Im sad that its previous owner decided to part with it, but I cant wait to see what they thought was important.
I just learned about white eared opossums trying to figure out what sort of possum this was. They're like possum supermodels! 🤩
