While my job hunt hasn't been great, and trying to learn UE5 has been mildly frustrating, I have figured some things out between Blender and Gnu IMage Program. I like this custom mod work is coming out, makes me feel not entirely unproductive! These are mostly new skills to me, too.

From: markcarrigan.net/2026/06/18/t... I know that my previous employer tried to use "story points" to balance developer time against project demands, but they didn't do that very well either. The way my lead worked, you'd think he was trying to hit new records of pull requests/commits.

ZOMG FFXIV 7.5 SPOILER! ...Sorta. The DT alliance raid NPCs have an escort quest, so I brought them to both Tulliyolal jump puzzles. I lucked out and finished one at the perfect time of day!

Haze's adventurer plate! I've changed themes occasionally as I acquire more decorative items but really... having this whole "Dark Knight" with a pink and purple heart theme is more my thing. 😏
