Another @octocon.bsky.social committee meeting finished - it's scary to think that in exactly 2 months, we'll just have wrapped up this year's convention! It's going to be a good one, for sure.

Getting a limited signed copy of a book from the public library feels weirdly transgressive, but at the same time like a source of almost secretive glee. 'Look what I found!' I will have to give it back.

It's been a few years and a different platform since I last tried to find out. So does anyone here recognise these three kitties from an early 00s webcomic, and can tell me what they and it were called? (I think the grey cat was Indy. And despite the Newkie Broon box, the comic was American.)

Lots of big waves this morning - mostly fun apart from getting whacked in the face a lot. But getting dressed after in the wind and rain was not enjoyable.

My plan to get the special Waterstones edition of Hemlock & Silver by @tkingfisher.com was thwarted by them being sold out, but I did get the anniversary copy of The Hollow Places with the spredges...

I was on the opposite platform to you (maybe at the same time) and there was one poor pigeon with such a bad foot that I said sorry to it aloud and got some confused stares from other passengers. There was also a gull who very much wanted my brownie.
