Water cascades down a natural channel it has worn in the granite over thousands of years. There are both conifer and deciduous trees on the bank and a tree-clad peak in the distance.

It's a damp, raw day here but one of my across-the-street neighbors has this cheerful forsythia bush.

I went for veggies at my local family-owned place but the pansies and the smaller violas were so charming that I came home with these too. Of course, I'll need to bring them in at night for quite a while. The yellow planter will go to the friend who is hosting an Easter brunch.

A friend just sent me this forecast image; I'm on the line between 2-4 and 4-6 books and am well-supplied.

Yes, this one is their Opus 166, and "make" is the operative word. They're usually working on three: one in design, one being built, one being readied for installation and final voicing. One gets finished every year or so.

Went to the open house to see the latest pipe organ built by C. B. Fisk (Gloucester, MA) before it goes to a church in Florida. It's big: 3 manuals, 54 stops. Here's a picture looking up over people's heads at a few of the pipes.

I finished this feather tree piece in time to take it to my friend last night. Design by Pat Thode (Artist's Collection)

A counted cross-stitch piece of a feather tree with a green inverted heart base, red and red & gold hearts hanging from the branches, and a gold star on top. It has a stitched border of red and green, the edges are fringed, and there is a green loop for hanging. A ruler below shows that it's about 4 inches wide and 6 inches tall.

Almond butter cake to take to my friend's house tomorrow. It made my kitchen smell amazing.
