Today I went through my second egg retrieval for IVF, at age 42. People don’t usually talk about this stuff while it’s going on, but it’s not secret to me. It’s shockingly more difficult to get pregnant when you’re 40+. Even though I don’t feel “too old” yet.
Every time I open up Threads I am accosted by a capital-t “take” but this one from the venerable esteemed Raffi was a real fun one today
Irvine truthfully has the best weather of any place I’ve ever lived. The weather here is so rarely ever “too hot” and it’s never “too cold”.
Today’s stomping ground is Nook Coffee Bar in Torrance. Vibey place, decent coffee but not worth the line to get in unless you like fancy sugary drinks (I’m a plain iced latte girlie)
Y’all I have breaking news, I found out the freakin’ Goodyear blimp lives in Gardena. It just HANGS out there. (Yeah I have a weird blimp obsession, to each their own)
Laith’s Mediterranean in Carson, CA has one of the best chicken shawarma wraps I’ve ever had. 10/10 great garlic sauce, awesome hot sauce and pickles. 🤤

I’ve also been playing Monopoly Go for a few months now (it’s honestly the ONLY game I am playing) and I enjoy it quite a lot. I am having a blast collecting the stickers for our Simpsons collab right now!
Great weekend, tons of outdoor time soaking up lots of LA and OC beautiful weather. Lots of soccer and family time!
