They also updated "The Final Battles" playlist with the King of Rot song, which is always fun to point out that cover features Bowser, Ganondorf and King K. Rool!
Here's King K. Rool, full of rage and hatred, chasing Donkey Kong and Pauline in a tower made of magic bananas! I couldn't write a better fanfic myself!
Official screenshot of Donkey Kong punching a Kritter real good! OUGH! 🐊
MOAR ZOOBLE!! 💕💕 (This one I bought a long time ago and just arrived today; right after my husband has gifted me with the plushie! lol)
Birthday, apparently. Did something to vent and get myself dusted off, since it's been a while since I drew something. #CyberWolfBia #FurryArt

Good content by @sourcegaming.info and @nantenjex.bsky.social right there ~ 🍌
This came with a portable DVD that somehow had built-in games; which I can only assume are SEGA Master System stuff with questionable emulation.
TecToy did what Sony was too coward to do with the PS3 and committed to metallic boomerang controller (and yeah, the cables are somehow tied to audio inputs; I don't know how and why).
As for the artists in particular.. hard to say, because cross examing King of Swing, Jungle Climber and Barrel Blast, there's basically no overlap of artists that worked on all 3. To me, that's more of a reason to believe these designs came from a non-disclosed Nintendo artist first.
I also find funny how the first Mario Strikers clearly was still not using the new references for development, as the Kritters are mostly based on their DK64 proportions; But the artwork for the cover (likely done much later), that has the "PAON" design. Which they'd update later for the Wii entry
Plus I assume it's no coincidence that DK's cast got a standardized look alongside the Mario cast in the mid GameCube/early Wii era. They got everyone new reference sheets for all kinds of developers/studios to use going forward; -Before you'd get the odd Rare Dixie alongside modern DK and Diddy
Mostly assumption of my behalf, I admit; but I highly doubt Nintendo would simply let a 3rd Party studio handle the redesigns for all the DK characters (Kremlings included) during that era. But at least we do have evidence that the Barrel Blast Kremlings were designed internally.
It also means whenever you spot a Crockoid in a minecart in Bananza, is accurate to say it's a skeleton Krash, now more than ever!
You know.. I realized this full circle just now.. Krash used to be just a regular Kritter on a minecart in DKC1, but in DK64 they were redesigned to be a big buff Kremling wielding a club.. now in Bananza all Kritters are big buff Kremlings wielding clubs!
I have draw him like this before, I quite like it! (I also tried yellow scleras in some other drawings, I'm pretty sure,... and that one I have no reference from where I was influenced!)
I also think this old Boom Bang edit has something to do with that (and for a minute I believed he was in the game, actually)
maybe I'm just stupid for not seeing the big ass Switch 2 logo there. But gatekeeping silly simple challenges for NES, SNES and GB games from Switch 1 users feels like a spiteful thing to do.
Going to get emotionally bullied by some children's cartoon or something. See y'all from the other side! #TADC
It was getting dangerously close of two months since I last took a picture.. so here we go. So now I can now stop pressuring myself about that a little!
