Finally getting somewhere with this. Like I've said, it's a real "trust the process" situation every time I draw this guy because it just looks wrong until suddenly it doesn't.

Decided to take a break from my career of drawing Frankenstein fan art to make some progress on the next page of my actual comic. Not sure if it can be ready to color next weekend, but we'll see. I might be able to pull it off.
Tried to come up with a modern outfit for the creature from Del Toro's Frankenstein and accidentally made him look like Walter Sullivan XD
It's also going against Sinners for a lot of its nominations, which I haven't seen but I know a lot of people love it, so if a horror movie IS going to win those awards, it'll probably be that one. Still ... I have a weird urge to cheer on both my boys and my girls, so there we go. (3/3)
Finally finished my fan art of The Creature from Del Toro's Frankenstein. Drawn with pencil, then pen and ink, then scanned and colored in Photoshop. Also a Black-and-white version (unfortunately, resizing it created a moiré pattern, but it is what it is). @realgdt.bsky.social

Liked it so much, I watched it again a week later XD This ridiculously hot monster lives in my head rent-free now.
Cells in the wrong order. I feel like maybe they did it because they realized too late that the rocket would have blocked the characters too much. Jesus Christ, tho.
