On my commute home yesterday evening I came across 7 cars parked in the bike lane alongside a high school. I reported all 7 of them using Austin’s 311 app. 6 citations were issued!!! Made the ride in a heat index of 112 worth it.
Harvest from years 1 and 2 of my dent corn landrace/seed saving project from the initial grex provided by @goingtoseed.bsky.social . Growing on a small, 100 sqft part of the backyard but next year I might expand to the front yard. Year 3 is supposed to be when the genetic magic happens.

My first 1st dent corn crop! It doesn’t look like much but I’m really only wanted seed for year 2 so I’m considering this a success in my first attempt at adaptation gardening. Each of these kernels is already genetically adapting to my soil and growing conditions. Genetic diversity for the win!
