On the 15th of July 1989, Patlabor: The Movie was released. Directed by Mamoru Oshii (Ghost in the Shell), it received great reviews & won the Best Work award in the 7th Japan Anime Awards. The movie plot would be adapted in SRW OE (PSP) in 2013. Happy 37th Anniversary 🎉
