Cosplayers are built different man, this line PLUS makeup and a costume and wig and whatall?? You'd have to pay me so much lol
Dang, OPI, glad I only left this on for a day! @goblinparty.bsky.social any tips?
Ha, we hung on to this thinking we'd wouldn't be back for years and years, and we fly on Friday!
We're in a really terrible drought in NC and I've never been so happy to see rain in my life.
I am having a terrible day, please have my favorite joke and a picture of my sweet orange baby Q: Why did the cactus cross the road? A: It was stuck to the chicken.
I've been sick with a bad cold all week. Upside: I finished one Art Downside: every muscle in my torso hurts from coughing/sneezing
Jesus, now there's a helicopter circling overhead, the writers need to take a xanax, this is too much!
I'm starting Goodbye to Berlin for the first time, and it has an introduction by Alan Cumming. I'm usually pretty detached from my feelings, but this certainly made me feel.
Chris met with a friend today who's been living in Japan for several years. He gave us these candies that are fascinating. Apparently made with honey, clear as glass, and just barely sweet. I can only describe the flavor as 'slightly warm'.
What's the biggest low stakes regret in your life, I'll go first: It's not playing with the rough green snake when I had the chance. I've never seen it again and it would have been so fucking cool
I get simply the Most use out of this @theonion.com headline. It's become shorthand in my house: "Babe, I dipshitted again!" Brought to you by the Blue Jays game.
I am officially old because I'm reading this graphic novel version of Anne of Green Gables and I think Matthew Cuthbert is really cute in a hipster kind of way
Also I learned a new plant today that I can't stop laughing about. Meet little brown jugs, y'all.
We went to the woods, and I spotted this guy like 30 ft from the parking lot. This is by far the best I've ever seen a wild owl, I couldn't believe it. We got to not-hear it fly away too! 🪶
I went to my first baseball game! The Bulls won in extra innings, and I don't *think* I got sunburned!
It really made me have a lot of feelings about Haydee, too. Like, the original version of her story lands very differently from grandson-of-an-enslaved-woman Dumas, than it would from this guy.
It's still cool today so we went for another walk in the woods. I learned that autumn olive smells incredible and loud, that there are baby persimmon trees right on the path, and what this stupid grass is called--I've been wondering since I was a kid!
I really was impressed by how the artist used straight pieces of wood and created the illusion of softness and curves. Based on the number of people enjoying them, it's maybe the best public art I've seen.
Today I spent hours hiking around the woods looking for sculptures of trolls. The weather was cool enough even for me. The world's great, y'know?
I am taking shport outside. Kids keep running down these hills and going faster than they can actually run and laughing madly as they go out of control
