Verrrrrry into this game because it's the perfection intersection for me (a Gamer) and my husband (Not a Gamer)
Hi #Portfolioday! I'm Dan, a queer genre writer for TV, video games, and comics. Things I've written: - Pilot for Netflix Animation - EARTH-PRIME #3 for DC - co-writer - ABADDON for Legendary's MONSTERVERSE DECLASSIFIED anthology Currently writing an OGN for Legendary, and looking for more work!
Thank you to Chiquita Brand Bananas for informing me that the majority of people prefer the "green tip"
Back on BlueSky to announce that I'm now living in Vancouver BC! Will still be in LA on occasion, but if I know anyone who is local to the area or knows it well, I'd love to get some recommendations on what to do/see :)
A student took a photo of me from a Muay Thai seminar this past weekend and I look like I don't have a single neuron firing in that thick skull of mine 😁
The thing about being a Muay Thai teacher is that sometimes you must sacrifice your body for the greater good
Discovered an absolutely insane AI slop Facebook account that keeps posting deranged stories about Stephen Colbert
A week late but celebrating my first solo comicnwriting credit! MONSTERVERSE DECLASSIFIED features stories about four Titans in the Legendary Godzilla universe. Mine's a Junji Ito-inspired tale about the spider Titan Abaddon, with incredible art from Marco Roblin. This one's for the arachnophobes!
LA! My very first comic signing is Sunday, May 18th at Things From Another World in Universal City Walk! I wrote a horror story about the spider Titan Abaddon for Legendary's Monsterverse Declassified anthology. Would love for folks to come say hi!
Got some work in at Left Hand Muay Thai yesterday with the homie @eddieliuwho.bsky.social The more I teach the harder it gets for me to train, but I gotta stay sharp so my students never ever get better than me 😇
For no reason at all, wanted to talk about how great the TALES FROM THE LOOP miniseries is. Personal favorite was episode six, which focuses on the very weird love life of Ato Essandoh's (also great in THE DIPLOMAT) security guard character, Gaddis.
Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man is out today! I came onto the show as the Writers Assistant when the show was pretty deep into production on Season 1. This was a true labor of love from a crew filled with Spidey fans. I'm so proud to have been a part of this. I hope y'all enjoy!!
Taking a momentary respite from the LA fires to appreciate how absurdly sexy Marvel Rivals' Mr. Fantastic is
Watched the 2002 NBC movie It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas movie this morning: Joan Cusack was scientifically engineered to play a cartoonish villain who's hammier than even the Muppets themselves
Okay it is pretty funny that the first thing the LEGO X-Mansion set has you build is the genocidal gay robot
My husband got a little drunk the other day and bought this on a whim and I'm pretending to be mad about it
Watched all of Black Doves last night and I'm kinda obsessed with how Joe Barton took great care to establish that Ben Whishaw's character is not only a highly effective killer but also a filthy bottom
Just watched Skeleton Crew. I've only known Neel for two episodes but if anything happens to him I'll kill everyone in the galaxy and then myself
Ah yes, my favorite show: The Beves Comedy Girls starring Amrit Kaur, Hannah Einbinder and Jean Smart
My dog trying (and failing) to get one little pea out of his bowl is kinda what it's like to go out for writing jobs: a whole lot of work for practically nothing
Went to a Muay Thai seminar to fish for compliments on my Spider-Man shorts. Got none. But at least I learned a ton of cool shit from this gentleman, Damien Alamos!
