Send help. First, no sleep. Second, I have a state-wide union training today from 10 to 4. Right before I left home, Luna got out of the yard. Ugh.
I saw a pair of muskrats on my morning walk. If you zoom into the first picture, you can see one swimming towards the bridge.
I saw this coyote pup and beautiful bird on my walk this morning. I'm pretty sure the coyote pup has mange. Poor thing.
Luna and I are hanging out in a mountain town this 4th. We also watched a parade, listened to bands and met a lot of people and dogs. Luna has been in the river a couple times.
Highlights from this morning's walk. The 1st pic is a pair of giant blue herons looking for breakfast. The 2nd is the marsh where I saw the river otter. The 3rd & 4th were the only occupants of the marsh when I passed.
I don't recall seeing this type of bird on previous walks. The coloring is beautiful.
I saw some cool wildlife on my walk this morning. I even saw a river otter but wasn't able to get a picture.
After our big snow storm last week, we are now having unusual heat. It doesn't bother me too much.
