So apparently Apple weather is not reporting accurate air quality for my area. It says it’s at a 2, but there is an air quality warning. I’ve checked other websites and they say it’s moderate air pollution at best.
Getting rid of most of my old Writer’s Digest books. Most of these I’m not going to read and many of them have outdated information in them anyway. I mean publishing in 1992 is different than it is now. I got most of these as library discards. Still I think I’ll give them to a thrift store.
I didn’t know how much I could fit in my box. Only have the stacks to the right now to deal with. I have a lot of room in my filing box. Didn’t even fill it halfway!
Clearing out a lot of stuff from my office. This is what’s left of my drawer. It was filled to the brim. Going to move some of these to my portable filling box. Drawer is approximately 32” length, 12” height and 16” width so it’s pretty big. I wish this was the bulk of the work but sadly it’s not.
My poor kitty is a big cat. Not fat — just really big. It makes it hard for him to get a good lap to sit on. I have to cross my legs for him to have enough space. I’m 5’10” and often he’s hanging on for dear life because there isn’t enough room on my lap.
These scammers try so hard. Look France is nice but I have appointments that whole week. Nice try though.
Every single time I talk to him when he’s in the bathroom window he whines at me like I’m going to forcibly remove him. The window does get shut when it’s cold out but never when he’s in the window. Still he gives me this pitiful look and meows like I’m going to be mean.
The tiny tax man. He’s quite proud of himself. Treats, tuna and some cat grass. I’m obviously not taking care of him well enough. 🤣
Waiting for my teen with flowers! These aren’t mine. They are for my MIL. #MothersDay she likes yellow flowers the most. 💜
I love that not only does my cat insist on being on my lap but he meows point by point reasons as to why he gets to be on my lap.
This is how he’s chosen to rest. He’s still purring but his tail has stopped moving. #catlife
On episode 4004 of Why Does My Cat Do That: We ask ourselves why our cat insists on lying down on the edge of the bed. No seriously, why does he do that? Every single time he comes close to falling off the side of the bed. After a brush with death, he’s lying closer to me getting all the pets.
My car just said he’s not moving from this window. It’s his. How dare I imply he’s to move. I swear all I did was look at him. No one told him to move.
He flipped and continued to purr, obvious to the fact that I was keeping him from falling off the bed.
This cat is something else. Lying next to me and purring like nothing happened earlier today. He sat in my lap acting like he really wanted pets. The whole time I was petting him he was eyeing up my cupboard. The second I had my kid close it, he jumped down and tried to get inside.
This is really my spouses legs vs my legs. He’s 6’ and I’m 5’9.5”. Mine are the black pants. Maybe some of it’s back padding but still. I hate not having leg room. 😭
Photo of my cat. Can’t see the cat you say? Me either. I don’t know what his end game is here. It doesn’t look like he can get out. #CatProblems
I opened my manuscript with all the best intentions. This is what I got done. Please applaud. #amwriting
There are just some Facebook Marketplace listings that I don’t want to know anything about.
There is an author reading for the anthology I'm in! I should be able to make this one and would love it if you could attend. It's at Iron Dog Books in Vancouver! RSVP here: irondogbooks.com/events/41759...
Just @merriam-webster.com saying, “let’s play a fun game” and then attacks. What did I do to you that you have to come for me like this?
Finished weaving in the ends on this scarf today. It’s a present for a friend. I found two types of wool to make this. Sadly, I have to give it to my friend. Well not so sad because I don’t think I could wear it anyway, but I do love it so much!
I’m working on this new crochet project for my 9 year old. He wants the potato from Plants vs Zombies. I keep telling myself “trust the process”. Trouble is I’m making this up as I go along and I’m not sure trusting the process counts in this situation. Oh well at least it looks somewhat potatoey.
Finally finished my first basket! It is huge, but should work for my yarn. If you see ends I haven’t woven in, no you didn’t. Those were woven in after the picture was taken. Now I have to move on to something else! Yay, but also boo!
Working on a scholarship essay (purposely blurred). The only way I can make my handwriting somewhat legible is to write small. Now I have to read it to type it up. Tried a shortcut through my camera but got this: “ITs a feeling of in is baler whe then arenoreflatosal dresal in korks and audia.” 😂
We had such an amazing launch party and later a great reading at Western Sky Books. I’m so happy to have been a part of this wonderful book. I hope that it helps other moms with postpartum depression. I can’t wait to see it on shelves everywhere! caitlinpress.com/Books/B/Beyo...
Working on my basket while the kids are in tutoring. I’m going to be finishing it soon. Still need to create the handles.
