People can’t afford housing or food or anything. I’m an elder millennial with a decent home, who managed to make it through the cost of daycare, I’m saving for retirement and can take a vacation. But the fact that all of Gen Z and younger can’t afford homes makes me unhappy about the economy.
One thing democrats are very bad at is separating their beliefs and political goals from the strategy of how to win elections. We are too earnest. Too validation-seeking. To do the barest amount of marketing to win political power.
The modern American economy is driven completely on the hopes and dreams of CEOs of replacing their annoying, demanding, wanting to get paid employees with the promise of AI.

Because it’s not the same thing. Americans think too much in terms of money, or labor. That’s not where the game is played. It’s all about who has a path to wear decisions are made, and having an in into Harvard gets you there.
Yes. YES!!! This is what we have been waiting for. Donald Trump brought out the worst, most terrible people into the politics and got them to vote for MAGA. This is what we need. For these dodos to go back to not voting.
